As part of a multi-disciplinary team led by EYP Architecture and Engineering; and as a lead designer with Pennoni, Elizabeth prepared site and hardscape design, and tree preservation plans for the restoration of the watch-box to reflect its mid 1800's design; and its relocation to the US Navy Yard. The design features:

Preservation of existing trees and relocation of bronze cannons

Site grading design

Brick paving under the overhang, and outer paving that provides ADA accessibility and stone-dust perimeter.

Elizabeth volunteered site design, hardscape detailing, and construction administration for two site improvement projects, for this non-profit schoolhouse that was built in 1884 and is on the National Registry of Historic Places.

a brick blend of traditional colors that were tumbled to create an antiqued look

a paving pattern reflecting the historic context

an attractive entryway to the schoolhouse with an added connection for ADA accessibility.

Double center parking bays and two-way drive aisles for improved safety and efficiency.
