community park and streetscape design

Elizabeth was a lead designer at Pennoni for the landscape and hardscape, including preparation of  concept studies, design development plans, and detailed construction documents for the site landscape architecture.  As part of a multi-disciplinary team she also played a significant role in the construction administration. 
 
The recreational park includes:
  • soccer field
  • tennis courts
  • basketball practice court
  • playground
  • bike trails

The streetscape features:​
  • accessible walkways and seating areas
  • stone walls and seat walls
  • rich mix of materials including flagstone, brick pavers, and specialty paving
  • site furnishings and lighting
  • indigenous and ornamental planting

The more successfully a city mingles everyday diversity of uses and users in its everyday streets, the more successfully, casually (and economically) its people thereby enliven and support well-located parks that can thus give back grace and delight to their neighborhoods instead of vacuity..
