Elizabeth Fribush
Landscape Architect PLLC
Plants indigenous to Northern Virginia and the Washington DC Metropolitan area, are selected to create designs that are both beautiful and sustainable. Selecting the right plant for the right soil and light conditions helps ensure that your landscape will thrive.

native woodland planting
Indigenous plants create sweeps of seasonal interest along the woodland edge at this residence in Oakton, Virginia.

walkway plantings
Planting designs provide seasonal interest at this linear park in Norfolk, Virginia and at a walkway with seating areas at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. As a lead designer at Pennoni for the landscape and hardscape. Elizabeth proposed groves of trees, and masses of shrubs, perennials, and grasses, including primarily indigenous species, for year-round color.

green roofs
As a lead designer for these two Pennoni projects, Elizabeth prepared construction detailing for green roofs at National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland; and at Carlyle in Alexandria, Virginia. The green roofs provide sustainable storm water management and energy efficiency.
